Beyond being a successful athlete, Tim has impacted the gymnastics community in the United States tremendously.  As a coach, he has developed two Junior National all-around champions, as well as, Senior National Team members.  In addition, Tim was selected as the assistant coach for the 1995 World Championships in Japan.

Tim's involvement with gymnastics crosses from the gym floor to the board room as he holds the position of Vice Chairman for Men and sits on both the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for USA Gymnastics, the governing body for artistic gymnastics and trampoline in the United States.  Along with these duties, Tim sits on the Men's Program Committee, which directs all rules, policies and finances for men's gymnastics throughout the USA.

With Tim's varied background he is often called on to travel internationally, securing our country's political positions on all matters pertaining to the rules that govern international gymnastics.
